POLICE seized a car after discovering the driver had failed to appear in court.
Officers said he also revealed that he was planning a trip abroad when questioned.
A spokesman for Dorset Police's No Excuse team said: "He doesn't hold a valid driving licence or insurance for this vehicle either.
"The driver was arrested for failing to appear and driving offences, he was also remanded to court to ensure he answers to all charges to the magistrates.
"He was planning a trip away. Luckily for him he was arrested now or he would have been arrested at the airport.
"The vehicle was seized."
