At the January chamber meeting, the attendees enjoyed a brand workshop, designed to help members clarify their vision of the chamber for the future.

Firstly, the attendees all took the opportunity to briefly introduce themselves and their many and varied businesses. The Bridport Chamber is quite unusual in the variety of businesses it represents - a reflection of the town itself - but we are always looking for more.

The workshop organisers, Anne King and Stephen Banks from Watershed PR and Marketing, then took over and, with many sticky notes and a few deep discussions, managed to pull out a few ideas about how members would like the chamber to develop in the future and how their message can be spread to other interested parties succinctly and effectively. Hopefully the results of all the hard work will become clearer over the next few months, when the chamber launches its new manifesto.

The next meeting, February 11, 6pm at Mountfield, Bridport, will start with an update on the inaugural Bridport Business Awards from Nigel Reeve at Marketing West, as well as an introduction to a new handbook for members we are hoping to launch this year.

All members and prospective members are welcome. If you would like further information, please come along on February 11 or contact Debbie on info@bridportbusiness.org.uk - make your voice heard.
