A town centre pub has received two lots of five stars, just months after the landlords took it over.
Sarah and Neil Chilcott, known as Chilly, took over the George Hotel in Bridport in September after Chilly worked at the Riverside Restaurant in West Bay, now Rise.
The pub has recently received five stars from Cask Marque for its cellar and five stars from environmental health for its food and restaurant.
They said: “Taking over the George Hotel has been a pleasant challenge and very different from anything we have done in the past.
“We have been working extremely hard to bring this town centre pub back to its iconic standard in the community, we are really excited to be awarded bot sets of five stars and would like to thank the team for their hard work and Palmers Brewery for all its input.”
