One of Beaminster Museum’s long-serving volunteers is mounting an exhibition of her own work.
Roberta Bee has been the museum’s artist in residence for many years and has enhanced numerous exhibitions to create large-scale works on a variety of surfaces.
Her own display will move away from paint to focus on textiles and crochet work.
‘One Planet to Share’ looks at the environment as well as s host of wider, thought-provoking issues. She calls the items she creates, ‘dream doors’ - some have words attached to them while others leave visitors to arrive at their own conclusions.
The exhibition at Beaminster Museum will be open to the public in a series of four two-hour sessions on February 1 and 20 from 10am and February 9 from 2pm.
Admission is free.
