There's a lot to pack into one weekend - plays, tribute shows and murder mysteries aplenty. Here's our Guide to the best entertainment going.

FRIDAY

CELEBRATE 25 years of The Circus of Horrors with a brand new show featuring an amazing amalgamation of acts and performers. Having reached the finals of Britain's Got Talent, the cast have since performed on the West End and across the world, all to the soundscape of rock 'n' roll. Coming to Weymouth Pavilion tonight at 7.30pm, tickets range from £19 to £26, available from the pavilion box office or website.

EMBRACE your inner detective at a murder mystery evening taking place tonight at Shire Hall. The action is set at a dinner in 1956, where a property developer is outlining plans for a new estate on the town's water meadows. When a shocking murder occurs, it's up to you to find out who's guilty. Murder in the Bunker is organised by Dorchester Arts and Shire Hall, with proceeds going towards the two organisations. The event begins at 7pm, with doors and reception from 6.30pm. Tickets are £20 per person, including a welcome drink and light dinner, available from Dorchester Arts' box office or website.

ENJOY a performance of Res Publica, from The People's String Foundation, tonight at West Stafford Village Hall from 7.30pm. The 32-piece virtual gypsy orchestra is fronted by musicians Ben Sutcliffe and Zaid Al-Rikabi, and the show combines music, puppetry, cinematography and animation to create an immersive and exhilarating show. Tickets are £9 for adults, £6 for under-18s, or £25 for a family of four, available from the Artsreach website or by contacting the box office.

SATURDAY

SEE storyteller James Rowland perform Revelations, the final part of his multi award-winning trilogy, at 7.30pm tomorrow in Piddletrenthide Memorial Hall. Using story, comedy, music and song, James tells the story of what happened next when his two best friends asked for his sperm to start a family. Suitable for audiences aged 14 and over, tickets are £10 for adults and £8 for under-18s, available from the Artsreach website or box office.

DON'T miss the Inflatable Museum when it arrives at Charlton Down Herrison Hall tomorrow, from 11am to 3pm. Working in collaboration with Artsreach, the event will present a range of children's trails, workshops and activities, with items from the museum's archaeology, natural history, and fossil collection available to handle. The Inflatable Museum will be visiting several rural venues in Dorset this spring, with details of future visits available on the Artsreach website. Entry to the Inflatable Museum is free.

EXPERIENCE the world's favourite Swedish pop group as Waterloo: The Best of ABBA comes to Weymouth Pavilion tomorrow at 7.30pm. With a talented cast and live band, the show will capture the unique sound of ABBA, performing all their greatest hits such as Mamma Mia, Dancing Queen and Voulez Vous. All tickets are £25, available from the pavilion website or box office.

GET on your dancing shoes and head to a barn dance taking place at the Dorford Centre tomorrow from 7pm. Music will be provided by quintet Taradiddle, with proceeds going towards Weymouth-based homeless shelter, Safe Sleep. Tickets are £8, available from the Dorford Centre reception in advance or on the night.

LET the Ronnie Scott's All Stars take you on a guided tour of the musical institution, with a performance at the Dorchester Corn Exchange tomorrow at 8pm. Celebrating 60 years since the founding of the iconic music venue, the event will feature classic music from the jazz greats who have performed at Ronnie Scott's, alongside projected images, footage, and tales of old Soho, miscreant musicians and police raids. Tickets are £24, available at the Corn Exchange or from Dorchester Arts.

SUNDAY

STRAP on your skates at the Roller Planet Roller Disco returns to Weymouth Pavilion on Sunday. Two sessions will run from 1pm to 3pm and from 4pm to 6pm, with all ages and abilities welcome. Tickets are £6, available on the door only.
