It was refreshing to read that our new MP Chris Loder says ‘I’ll deliver for voters’. Let’s hope he keeps to his promise and will listen to the his constituents unlike his predecessor.

Whoever passed the new 30mph limit on Chideock Hill, I can assume has never driven up it when there are lorries or buses to pass. There are two lanes going up the hill for a reason.

Research shows that vehicles driving at lower speeds generate more toxic emissions. Common sense tells you, that if you are using more fuel, then you are producing more CO2 which, when combined with idling the engine to get overtake without breaking the law, to say this was brought in for environmental reasons is farcical.
