Police are appealing for witnesses to come forward following an altercation and a road rage incident.

Officers were called to North Allington around 5pm on Sunday, December 1 to reports of an altercation.

The incident is said to involve two women in their 50s who are known to each other, and the altercation reportedly involved one of them carrying a broom.

Police Constable Rebecca Barnes of Bridport police said: “We are continuing to investigate this incident and have spoken to both parties involved. No arrests have been made.

“I am now appealing for any independent witnesses who have not already spoken to police to please contact us.” 

A driver is also alleged to have thrown a number of items from a car in a road rage incident.

A black BMW X5 and another vehicle were involved in the incident, which took place at the traffic lights near Morrisons, Bridport, at around 6.30pm on Thursday, November 28.

A number of items are believed to have been thrown by a driver, and police would like to speak to witnesses or anyone who captured it on dashcam. Crime number 55190187832.
