MORE Shepherd hut holiday homes are being proposed in West Dorset.

The latest application is for five at a site at Frogmore Farm in Toller Porcorum, together with a toilet and shower block.

Part of the site, off Frogmore Lane, is already used as a seasonal caravan site.

The application says that if the huts are allowed the existing timber processing business on the site will be removed to provide a hard-standing for cars associated with the huts, each of which can sleep two people.

The huts would be timber clad and painted green with a black painted corrugated curved roof. The shower and toilet hut will be clad in natural timber with a black corrugated pitched roof.

The application is expected to be decided by a Dorset Council planning officer with comments open until January 4th.
