A MAN has been arrested in a Lymm pub on suspicion of drink driving.

Police were called to a crash on Cherry Lane in Lymm at 8.40pm on Tuesday.

The accident involved two cars (a black Audi and a black Renault Clio). There were believed to be no injuries.

A police spokesman said one of the drivers left the scene and was later located inside a pub in Lymm.

A 42-year-old man from Manchester was arrested on suspicion of drink driving and has been released under investigation.

The spokesman added: "Luckily no one was injured, but it’s a reminder it isn’t worth the risk."
