Celebrate as a community this Christmas with a street fair, curry and carols.
Charmouth’s Christmas fayre will take place on Thursday, December 5 in the village, followed by a ‘community curry’ and carols in the community hall.
The fayre will start at 5pm with shops open and lots of activities up and down The Street, with Father Christmas arriving at 5.15pm in a fire engine before going to his grotto in Breeze.
A grand raffle will be drawn at Fortnum, Smith & Banwell at 6.45pm, with tickets on sale in Morgans, Charmouth Stores and other outlets. The first prize is £50.
The community curry and carols in the community hall will take place at 7pm. There will be a bar and tickets cost £10 for adults, free for children, and are available from FSB and the pharmacy.
Bring along donations of non-perishable items, toiletries and household goods for local food banks.
All money raised at the events will go towards local causes.
