Work on the construction of Weymouth’s new beach front office and so-called ‘superloo’ complex has been progressing, but the ongoing building work has affected the newly installed seafront lights.
A spokesperson for Dorset Council said: “You may have noticed that the new lights along Weymouth seafront appeared not to be working properly on Monday evening.
“While work is underway to the beach office the equipment that powers the lights has been temporarily relocated and this may mean a few intermittent outages.
“Fear not, they are not broken!”
The construction work to the town’s new beach office and loo complex will be completed next year, with the site originally scheduled to open by Easter 2020.
