Volunteers are needed to help at the next community orchard work party.
Bridport Community Orchard will be having its next work party on Sunday, November 17, starting at 10am.
A spokesperson said: “As autumn marches inexorably on and we already have a few tastes of winter, there is a good varied list of tasks that will help prepare the orchard for the forthcoming dormant months.
“Jobs will include some further tree maintenance, cutting of grass, weeding the flower beds, tending the pond, doing compost management and some light hedge trimming.”
There will also be the opportunity to purchase some bottles of the orchard’s pasteurised apple juice.
The orchard can be found off South Street behind St Mary’s Church.
Everyone is welcome to join, and refreshments will be provided.
