Part of the A37 was flooded
Heavy rain caused a major road to flood.
There was standing water on the A37 near Dorchester this morning, affecting traffic in both directions between the Monkeys Jump roundabout and the B3147.
Drivers were urged to approach with care and there was heavy congestion in the area during rush hour.
It has since cleared.
