A fire which ripped through a porch, causing extensive damage, was started by an electrical fault.
Firefighters from Bridport and Beaminster were called to Waytown at 9.40am on Monday.
A fire had started in a small porch area to the side of the property and crews used two breathing apparatus, a hose reel jet, small tools and a thermal imaging camera to extinguish the fire.
Pictures from the fire service show serious damage and charred kitchen equipment.
A investigation has been carried out and the fire started accidentally due to an electrical fault, according to Dorset and Wiltshire Fire and Rescue Service.
