A woman fell and injured herself while roller skating at West Bay.
Coastguards and lifeboat crew, who had been dealing with another incident nearby, helped the woman who needed medical assistance.
First aid and casualty care were given to the woman before paramedics arrived.
A spokesman for West Bay Coastguard Rescue said: "Stay safe on the coast, but if you find yourself in difficulty or if you see something which gives you cause for concern then do not hesitate, dial 999 and ask for the coastguard."
