The town’s business chamber has praised the owners of a music shop for more than 40 years of trading on the town’s high street.
Bridport Business Chamber president, Rob Muhl, presented a certificate and a bottle of champagne to Piers and Steph Garner of Bridport Music, to recognise their contribution to the town’s high street over the years.
Mr Muhl said: “The members of the Bridport Business Chamber of Trade, being business people themselves, recognise the immense commitment and hard work required to run a successful local business for 40 years.
“We just wanted to ensure that Steph and Piers know how much the town appreciates their efforts and that they will be sorely missed. We all wish them every success in their future projects.
“We would also like to thank Jason at Footeprints for producing the framed presentation certificate.”
Bridport Music has been on South Street for more than 40 years but shut this month, with the last day of trading on October 26.
