HEAVY rain could bring flooding and travel disruption to Dorset throughout the night, the Met Office has warned.
A yellow warning, which covers south and west Dorset, is in effect from 7pm today until 7am tomorrow.
Flood alerts have also been issued for rivers and streams in the county.
Forecasters are warning that spray and flooding on roads could make journey times longer. Commuters may be affected by delays to bus and train services in the morning.
Some interruption to power supplies and other services is also likely.
Flood alerts have also been issued by the Environment Agency (EA) for rivers and streams in Dorset.
The alerts cover the River Frome at Maiden Newton, which could lead to flooding of low-lying roads and farmland early tomorrow morning, and rivers in west Dorset including the Lim, Char and Asker rivers.
