Several buildings in Dorset's 'lost' village have been sealed off on safety grounds.
Tyneham village, which was evacuated in December 1943 and has remained deserted every since, is a popular tourist destination.
Now owned by the Ministry of Defence (MOD) the village is accessible when the Lulworth Ranges are open to the public.
An MOD spokesman said: "Investigations have revealed that several buildings in Tyneham village appear to be unsafe and therefore a decision has been made to close off public access to these buildings.
"We are currently working to establish whether the buildings can be repaired and reopened.
"The church, school house and farm complex remain open to the public at permitted times.”
The village was requisitioned by the War Office for use as training for troops.
