An elderly woman has been injured in a fall at a beach.
Emergency services, including Lyme Regis Coastguard Rescue Team, were called to Charmouth just after 2pm yesterday after the woman landed badly in the fall.
A coastguard helicopter from St Athan also attended but it was called away to another incident further down the coast.
The woman was looked after by paramedics and taken to hospital by ambulance for further assessment.
A spokesman for Lyme Regis CRT said: "We wish her a speedy recovery."
