Help make this community space look great for the annual Apple Day event.
Ahead of Bridport Community Orchard’s Apple Day on October 12, there will be a work party in the orchard on Sunday, starting at 10am.
A spokesperson said: “There is a good varied list of tasks, with general preparation ahead of Apple Day, and will also include some light hedge trimming, further apple picking, cutting of grass around some of the trees and raking up grass left from previous mowing, some weeding of various flower beds and compost management.”
The orchard can be found off South Street, behind St Mary’s Church.
Everyone is welcome to join, and refreshments will be provided for volunteers.
