Another cruise ship has arrived at Portland Port, one of many this year.
'Rotterdam', operated by Holland America arrived at Portland Port this morning.
At 234 metres long, it can carry 1,404 passengers and is one of four American cruise ship arrivals in the next few weeks. It is due back again in a week's time.
Another much smaller American cruise ship 'Ovation', operated by Seabourn, will be arriving on Sunday with 604 passengers. NCL's 'Getaway' is due on October 25 and with 3,969 passengers it is the biggest one of the year and Portland Port's last cruise ship of the season.
A German ship, Phoenix Reisen's 'Artania' is due on Sunday, October 13 with 1,200 passengers.
