What is happening to our environment?

Millions of animals are dying because of our careless actions towards our environment.

Over these past months, animals have been dying due to many things such as plastic pollution, making of oil and other human caused catastrophes.

Over 1 million marine animals are dying because of plastic and more than eight million tons of plastic end up in our oceans. Three million tonnes of plastic is made each year.

Air pollution is putting poison in the air. Burning fossil fuels is a major cause of air pollution.

Also, nature can cause air pollution too. For example, when volcanoes erupt, they let out something called sulfur dioxide into the air.

The world has used 800 billion barrels of oil since 1859. An oil spill is like a farm of pollution which spreads throughout the ocean and kills many marine animals.

Recycling can reduce the amount of waste that people possess...it can also save our environment. Many people recycle: you can join in.

Help us care for our environment.
