‘A Year in the Life of Bridport Community Orchard’, a film by Rob Jayne, will be shown at Bridport LSi on Wednesday, October 9.

The much-cherished community resource of the Bridport orchard is looked after by a group of local volunteers and various events, such as Wassailing, Apple Day and Mayfest, are held there throughout the year.

The hour-long film takes a brief look at the history of its development and follows the work that goes on through the seasons.

The event starts at 7.30pm, with doors opening at 7pm.

Tickets are free, but there is a suggested donation of £5, and are available from the LSi canteen, Bridport Tourist Information Centre and Eventbrite.

The bar will be open and fresh orchard apple juice will be available.

All proceeds will go to Bridport Community Orchard.
