A road was closed for several hours after two cars were involved in a crash.
The crash took place on Crewkerne Road, Axminster, this afternoon (Friday).
The road was closed in both directions between the A35 at Raymonds Hill Cooks Lane, Monkton Wyld.
This has now reopened.
Traffic has been very slow on the A35 all day, with problems eastbound as you approach Bridport and long queues and standstill traffic leading up to the Crown roundabout.
It follows long delays and queueing traffic on the A35 yesterday, when drivers reported waiting up to an hour in queues.
Traffic was heavier than normal in both directions between Bridport and Charmouth, with Chideock being particularly congested.
It is thought temporary traffic lights at Morcombelake contributed to the delays.
