A two-year-old child cut their head after colliding with a dog on the beach.
The Wyke Regis Coastguard Rescue Team made their way to Weymouth Beach after the young child was injured near the Pavilion end at around 1pm on Sunday.
When the team arrived the child was being attended to by the RNLI Beach Lifeguards.
The child was given a dressing and taken by their parents to the walk-in centre for further attention to the laceration.
