A MAGICAL cruise ship has returned to Portland Harbour today, bearing over 2000 passengers.
The Disney Magic is an award-winning cruise liner that promises guests an 'immersive Disney experience' - including world premier movies, Broadway-style shows in the 1000-seat Walt Disney Theatre and an after-hours grown-up’s deck.
She departed from Dover yesterday and will stop at Cobh-Cork in Ireland tomorrow before traversing the Atlantic, with her next stop at Sydney in Nova Scotia, then Halifax, Nova Scotia before arriving in New York on Wednesday, September 25.
Among the elaborate dining experiences on offer is the Animator's Palate restaurant in which diners can watch the restaurant, and its waiters, transform from black and white to colour throughout courses.
On board, children can pursue their favourite interests, be it science or art, transform into a pirate or princess in the Bibbity Bobbity Boutique and meet their favourite characters from Mickey Mouse to Captain Jack Sparrow.
Disney Magic was built in 1998 and is owned by the Walt Disney Company and operated by Disney Cruise Line.
She is 294m long and has 947 crew and between 1,754 and 2,456 passengers.
