ADVICE on how to stay well as temperatures drop will be given by Dorset County Hospital staff at an event.

The hospital will host its annual general meeting and annual members' meeting on Monday, September 16, where there will be talks and advice from associate medical director Christian Verrinder and consultant paediatrician Clare Hollingsworth.

Volunteer co-ordinator Hannah Robinson will offer the opportunity to hear about volunteer roles at the hospital, and visitors can hear an overview of the past year from trust chairman Mark Addison and DCH chief executive Patricia Miller alongside other directors.

There will be an opportunity for questions at the end of the meeting, when the hospital's senior team will be on hand to discuss key issues facing the NHS.

The meeting will be held from 5.30pm to 7.30pm in Room 2 of the hospital’s Education Centre, which can be accessed from the East Wing Entrance 1.

Doors will open at 5pm and refreshments will be available, as well as information stands on the hospital’s charity, volunteering, governors and plans for the development of the hospital site.

The trust’s full annual report and accounts can be read online at dchft.nhs.uk. A summary annual review document will be available at the meeting.
