A bike was stolen from outside a shop in East Street, Bridport.
The incident happened sometime between 5pm and 6.30pm on Monday. September 9.
A blue Apollo Evade bike was left unattended against the railings outside Central Stores.
It had been taken by the time the owner returned.
A spokesman for Bridport Police said: “If you have any knowledge as to who may have taken the bike or its whereabouts please contact the police on the non-emergency number 101 or do it online.”
