Firefighters were called to reports of a shop on fire yesterday.
Two fire engines from Bridport were sent to the scene.
A spokesman for Bridport Fire Station said: “At approximately 2.30pm both Bridport appliances were mobilised to a fire.
“The initial turnout was to a local shop, but further information came in on route that it was a disused storage box on fire in the field by Flood Lane.”
