A new project for people to try out woodworking skills is coming to the coast.
Lyme Regis Development Trust is launching The Lyme Community Workshop. The new project is based on a scheme called ‘Men’s Shed’, which encourage people to come together to make and mend to help with isolation.
The workshop, which will be adjacent to The Hub on Church Street, will provide tools and machines to enable anyone - male or female - with basic training to try out their woodworking skills.
It aims to be a great place to meet, share ideas and conversation.
The in augural meeting will be at Unit 1a, St Michael’s Business Centre, on Tuesday, September 10 from 7pm.
