Tantalise your taste buds this weekend with some of the best produce the area has to offer.

The two-day extravaganza that is Food Rocks returns to the Lyme Regis coast on Saturday and Sunday, with a whole host of chef demonstrations, food and drink.

Chef demonstrations taking place on the Saturday include, Gill Meller at 11.30am, Angela Hartnett at 12.30pm, Jesse Dunford Wood at 1.30pm, Richard Bertinet at 2.30pm, James Golding at 3.30pm and Mark Hix will be joined by Ashley Wheeler and James Grant at 4.30pm.

First to the stage on Sunday will be Mitch Tonks at 11.30am, followed by James Whetlor at 12.30pm, Rose Prince at 1.30pm, Steven Lamb at 2.30pm and Paul Archard and Mark Hix at 3.30pm.

Throughout the two days there will be food and drink stalls

The festival started as a vision of Mark Hix with the aim of promoting the produce of his hometown of Lyme Regis and the surrounding areas, by presenting some of the best food, producers and suppliers that Dorset and the south west has to offer.

The festival raises money for the RNLI and The Fishermen’s Mission, which provides support to fishermen and their families.
