A major emergency response was called to Lyme Regis after it was reported that there was concern for a man's welfare.
Several police cars, ambulances and Dorset & Somerset Air Ambulance were called to Anning Road at 9am yesterday (Thursday).
It was reported from the ambulance service that the man had sustained injuries.
Officers attended the address and the man was taken to hospital by the air ambulance.
