Mark Hix’s Food Rocks returns to Lyme Regis for its eighth year on September 8 and 9.
Expect all things food and drink from Dorset and the surrounding area with cooking demonstrations from top chefs, talks and tastings from local producers.
The festival started as a vision of Mark Hix with the aim of promoting the produce of his hometown of Lyme Regis and the surrounding areas by presenting some of the best food, producers and suppliers that Dorset and the south west has to offer.
This year, visitors to the festival can enjoy live music from B Sharp on the Saturday and morris dancing on the Saturday afternoon and Sunday lunchtime from Mr. Baker’s Dozen.
Money raised from the weekend will be donated to the RNLI and the Fisherman’s Mission.
