A man is due to appear in court following a reported robbery in Weymouth town centre.
Police officers were called to St Nicholas Street at around 12.30am on April 7 after hearing that an altercation had broken out.
It is alleged a 23-year-old local man forcibly removed money from a local woman in her 20s before walking off along Lower St Alban Street.
The man and woman are reportedly know to each other.
The man has been issued with a postal requisition to appear at Weymouth Magistrates’ Court on Monday, September 2 for an offence of robbery.
