The River Cottage Festival will return with a whole host of music, food, fun and special guests.

The annual event held on the Dorset/Devon border will be taking place on the farm over the August bank holiday weekend and will celebrate 20 years of Hugh Fearnley-Whittingstall’s River Cottage.

The predominant themes of the weekend’s discussions and presentations are conservation, sustainability and wellbeing.

A number of special guests, including Anita Rami, Steph McGovern, Giles Yeo, Valentine Warner, Claire Thomson and Leyli Joon can be found in conversation with Hugh or at cooking demonstrations.

As well as live music throughout the weekend from performers such as Psychadelephant, Stompin’ Dave, Honeyfeet, The Luck and Velvet & Stone, the event will also feature an ethical fashion panel featuring Georgina Wilson-Powell, founder of Pebble Magazine, who will be in discussion with British designer Alice Temperley and Maria Chenoweth, CEO of Traid, a charity recycling clothes.
