CHANGES to the re-development of the former Dorchester Arts Centre have been agreed by Dorset Council.
East Boro Housing is converting the site into homes for people with a learning disability and limited mobility.
It had asked the council to agree alterations to the original approved application to convert the old hall into two one-bedroom houses and to build three one-bed terraced homes in the grounds.
The application also requested the demolition of some single storey buildings at the former arts centre site and for the removal of a residents lounge from the agreed scheme. The housing trust says that two of the proposed carer bedrooms are also no longer required.
