Emergency services were urgently sent to Portland following concern for welfare reports of a seriously injured man near some cliffs.
An ambulance was sent out to reports of an injured man near to the cliffs on Reap Lane on Portland at about 5.44pm on Sunday August 18.
Police officers and the Portland Bill and Wyke Coastguard Rescue Teams were also dispatched to the area.
The man was brought to safety at approximately 7pm and taken to hospital for further treatment.
