Raise money for charity by enjoying a drink - or five - in these west Dorset pubs.

The Five Pubs Challenge returns today!

Make your way to five different pubs - the Loders Arms, The Crown in Uploders, The Spyway in Askerswell, The Marquis of Lorne in Nettlecombe and The Three Horseshoes in Powerstock - in any way you chose, either cycling, walking, horse riding or any other way you can think of.

Start and end at the same pub and collect a stamp at each one you visit along the six to seven mile route. Those who are successful will be given a certificate at the end.

Those taking part will be given a map, entry form and instructions at their first pub.

The start time is between 11am and 3pm. Pubs will remain open from 11am to 6pm for refreshments. If those taking part want lunch they are advised to book. It takes around two to three hours to complete.

It costs £5 to enter, or £2 for those aged 15 and younger, and proceeds will be divided between the committees of the Askerswell and Loders Village Halls and the Powerstock Hut. They will decide how it will be allocated.
