Police are appealing for information on the following crimes.

A shop window was damaged in the early hours of the morning. Two men were reportedly seen damaging the window of a shop on South Street, Bridport, shortly before 3am on Monday, July 29. Reference number 55190120942.

An urgent appeal has been issued as police hunt the occupants of a van. A while Transit van with a black bonnet was seen in ‘suspicious circumstances’ in the Rampisham and Mosterton areas on Friday. Its occupants are said to have made off across fields. The van is likely to have substantial damage.

Rocks were thrown through windows in a ‘very distressing incident’ for a family. Two large rocks were thrown through windows of a property in Monmouth Street, Lyme Regis, shortly after 11pm on Thursday, August 1.

Police Constable Mike Rumsby, of Bridport police, said: “This was a very distressing incident for the family and we are continuing to make enquiries.

“I am appealing for anyone who witnessed any suspicious activity in the area to contact us. I would also urge anyone who has a home CCTV system to check their footage for the relevant time period.” Reference number 55190119695.
