More litter picks are planned for the town and beach this month.
The first one is taking place today at 5.30pm when litter is hoped to be cleared from the field on the other side of the road from Palmers Brewery towards Flood Lane.
Volunteers should meet outside Morrisons café and pickers, bags and tins to collect in will be provided. Litter will be cleared for an hour and children are welcome if accompanied.
The second litter pick will be on Sunday from 11am on East Beach. Those wanting to take part should meet between the Watch House Café and the beach. This will again be for an hour and pickers and bags will be provided.
Participants are asked to bring their own gloves, but some gloves will be available.
