Today (Saturday) will see Poundbury hosting the very best of the county’s food at the Dorset Food and Arts Festival.
More than 80 local food, drink and art stalls will be present to peruse, including the regular Poundbury Dorset Farmer’s Market stallholders.
This year’s demo kitchen will feature flavours from Dorset and beyond, with chefs Lesley Waters, Russell Brown, Andy Chu and Sarah Ali Choudhury in attendance – and as always, the popular demonstration by the Brace of Butchers.
Accompanying the food and the arts will be a host of charities raising awareness, with Encompass Dorset, Go Girls, Artsreach and the Alcohol Education Trust running events ranging from cupcake decoration to bug house building.
The festival will run from 9am to 5pm in Queen Mother Square, Poundbury.
