Several times a day, especially at peak times, the entry and exit to East Street car park gets blocked off by traffic going towards the town centre from the roundabout.

The result is that traffic travelling from west to east cannot turn right into the car park, and of course nothing can leave the car park causing a lot of frustrated drivers.

The simple way to prevent this would be a criss-cross yellow box on the road that you are not allowed to enter until the way forward is clear, much the same as they have on the road outside the fire station, a cheap solution to an ongoing problem.
