A by-election will be held to fill a vacancy on the town council.
Lyme Regis Town Council has the vacancy following the resignation of Cllr Cheryl Reynolds at the first meeting of the council following the elections in May.
Lyme Regis currently has 13 councillors.
Nominations are now being taken and the deadline for submissions is Friday, July 12 at 4pm, with a by-election taking place on Thursday, August 8.
Nomination papers are available from South Walks House in Dorchester, by emailing admin@lymeregistowncouncil.gov.uk or downloading a pack at dorsetcouncil.gov.uk

To vote in the election, residents must be registered to vote by Tuesday, July 23
