A crash between a bus and a car blocked the A35.
The road was closed in Bridport by Lee Lane and Howard Road after a First Wessex double decker bus and VW Polo crashed.
The police, fire service and ambulance all attended the scene on Monday evening.
A spokesperson for Dorset Police said: “We were called at 7.28pm to reports of a collision between a bus and a car near Lee Lane, Bridport.
“The road was blocked but there were no injuries and the road was clear at 8.48pm.”
No passengers on the bus were injured and the driver of the car suffered minor cuts and bruises.
A spokesperson for Dorset and Wiltshire Fire and Rescue Service said: “Fire control received a phone call from one of our officers stating he had come across a road traffic collision involving one double decker bus and a private vehicle.
“He requested the attendance of both appliances from Bridport to assists in making the scene safe. No persons were trapped, and the paramedics were called to the scene for minor cuts and abrasions.
Traffic was rerouted through Howard Road while the road was cleared.
