MARSHWOOD Post Office and Stores may be converted into a home with an extension to accommodate a carer.

The full planning application has been submitted for Mr John Walther and seeks approval for the change of use for the redundant shop/Post Office to a purpose-built unit for Mr Walther across one level throughout the ground floor for easy access and wheel chair use.

The design proposes to extend the existing building to provide suitable living quarters and accommodation above for a full-time carer.

A decision on the application is expected to be made by a planning officer under delegated powers. Public comment remains open until July 6th
