Green-fingered gardeners will have plenty to choose from at the next Great Dorset Plant Fair tomorrow.
It is taking place at Abbotsbury Subtropical Gardens.
Organised by Plant Heritage, admission for the fair is £7 (£6 if booked in advance on the Abbotsbury website) and profits go to support plant conservation, education and events in Dorset.
The admission includes free access to the extensive gardens. The fair is held in a spacious setting on the West Lawn within the gardens and offers a wide range of plants from specialist nurseries and growers across the south west and beyond. A plant crèche will be available throughout the day, so you can buy the best plants and someone else will mind them whilst you enjoy the gardens, restaurant or shop. The fair is open from 10am-3pm. Free parking.
Plant Heritage Dorset meets at the Dorford Centre, Dorchester. For details email martinyoung100@btinternet.com or visit plantheritage.org
