The countdown to this year's Camp Bestival is now underway and as a special offer for Bridport News readers we have six family tickets to give away.

This year's headline acts include Jess Glynne, Lewis Capaldi and The Human League at the superhero-themed family festival which takes place at Lulworth Castle from July 25 to 28.

Acts including Sister Sledge, drum and bass DJ Goldie, East 17 and X Factor winners Rak-Su are also slated to perform.

Organisers Josie and Rob da Bank said: “Step up the brave and the perilous, courageous and noble, those with superhuman powers or those powering everyday heroic deeds, Camp Bestival is back with a bang and we’re over-the-moon to announce our return with the best and biggest line-up to date in 2019. Expect magical mania, brimmed with momentous music, phenomenal feast-worthy food and exciting experiences suited for everyone, whether you’re aged 8 or 80!”

The event also features a range of events for children. Mr Tumble and CBeebies presenters Sam and Mark will make an appearance at the festival and Aardman Animations will present Shaun the Sheep’s Vegetable Orchestra and model making workshops to celebrate the 30th anniversary of Wallace and Gromit.

And new for 2019, the Camp Bestival team are launching Wild Tribe, a brand-new kids area designed to encourage screen-free time. Powered by solar and alternative technology, the unique area will be complete with bushcraft and wild adventures, mud slides, drumming circles, as well as some organic and vegan food to fuel the kids.

The family raves will be returning, along with silent discos, a bouncy castle, as well as the Literary Institute, Sonic Youth Club, the Parenting Programme and the Teen Debating Society.
