A photographer inspired by his favourite county has had a successful launch for his new children’s book.
Richard Lappas launched ‘Adventure at Muffin Bay’, set on the west Dorset coast, at Felicity’s Farm Shop in Morcombelake.
Richard said: “It was a very successful event with a very good turnout, a good number of books signed and sold, and a very good event hosted by Felicity’s Farm Shop.”
The book was inspired by the west Dorset coast and tells the story of a little boy called Chunky and his new friend Sarita, a bird who can talk. Having met by accident, the pair soon find themselves caught up in the middle of a secret military operation that has gone wrong. So Chunky and Sarita come to the rescue with more than a few surprises along the way.
