Residents are being invited to have their say on some of the town’s green spaces.

At the annual meeting of the Bridport Millennium Green Trust, attendees will have the chance to suggest changes and improvements to include in the next five-year management plan.

The trust’s land includes the five-acre meadow and woodland above Mountfield, as well as most of the gardens at Mountfield.

So far, under the current plan, successes have included the resurfacing of the woodland path access, the creation of a new website and renewal of the raised beds.

Paul Bennett, secretary of the Bridport Millennium Green Trust, said: “We have already started to list suggestions on work for the future and look forward to more being made.”

The meeting is open to everyone and takes place on Thursday, June 20 from 7pm at Mountfield. It will be followed by the Friends of Millennium Green AGM.
