Enjoy the delights of a traditional country fair in the heart of a west Dorset village this weekend.
Symondsbury Estate is hosting its first country fair this Saturday, with a host of entertainment, stalls and displays.
As well as stalls of local food, drink, gifts and crafts, there will also be family-friendly entertainment throughout the day, including lamb feeding, traditional fair games, a bouncy castle, Punch and Judy and the opportunity to get up close to creepy crawlies.
Morris dancing will open the fair in the morning and visitors can be entertained by Xtreme Falconry display and Strawberry Jam’s children’s show.
Symondsbury Country Fair takes place at Manor Yard on Saturday, May 18 from 11am to 4pm. Parking and entry are free and visitors are asked to enter the event by following signs to the fair and marshals.
